The City Hall flag has been lowered in memory of former City Councillor Joseph (Joe) Cox, who passed away peacefully on January 14, 2019. Joe served on Belleville City Council from 1973-1982 and again from 2000-2003. Our deepest sympathy to Joe's family and friends. 

City of Belleville staff continues to monitor the ice thickness and quality on Victoria Park Harbor and will do so throughout the season, providing progress reports to help ensure public safety and skate ability. The harbor will not open until there is at least seven inches of good sound ice. When the ice reaches this safe depth the “danger thin ice” signage will be removed. Thank you for respecting these restrictions.

From 1:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.

In accordance with the City’s Parking By-law, overnight parking on all city streets is prohibited beginning November 2nd and continues until April 14th.  

Parking Control Officers wish to thank all local motorists for their co-operation in complying with overnight parking restrictions.
